Zimbabwe refuses to declare state of emergency by epidemics of cholera

The Zimbabwe decided not to declare state of emergency due to a cholera epidemic that has already caused more than 360 deaths, reported Wednesday that the Deputy Minister of Health, ensuring that the situation is under control.

Over 9,000 cases of cholera were recorded in Zimbabwe between mid-August and November 25 and 366 people died due to the epidemic, announced the day before the UN, emphasizing that the disease spreads to an alarming rate.

The non-governmental organization Oxfam and the British association of Zimbabwean doctors asked the government to declare state of emergency to combat epidemic.
